Built for Life class

A smart, supportive fitness class to help you move, feel and live better – at any stage of life.

Built for Life is a circuit class focused on strength and functional fitness. This is not a HIIT or cardio based class.

Wednesdays 12.30pm at Grove Park Community Centre (the Eric Richards hall), SE12 0DS. Limited spots available!

(Note: in the spring & summer months, this class will move to Northbrook Park).

I am a mobile personal trainer living in Lee and serving South East London, who has been strength and resistance training for over eight years. Having studied at Leeds University and worked as a senior leader in the charity sector for seven years, my career has been dedicated to helping people grow and develop, and supporting time-poor leaders to achieve ambitious goals and programme outcomes.

Even before becoming a fitness professional, I've always been a huge advocate of balance and sustainability, and I think ultimately, balance equals health. Health, diet and fitness myths are sadly rife, particularly with social media. I have made it my mission to educate people on these and show my clients that getting (and staying) fit and healthy never needs to include faddy yo-yo diets, restriction or unsustainable habits.

Through a determined approach to education and self-learning, I have been through my own journey of fat loss, strength training and overall health and fitness development. I've only ever written my own programmes, and through this method, I have sustainably lost over 10kg, I can now lift over 2x my own bodyweight, I run half marathons in under 2 hours and I have gradually moved to a more hybrid and functional style of fitness.
