About Georgia

I am a mobile personal trainer living in Lee and serving South East London, who has been strength and resistance training for eight years. Having studied at Leeds University and worked as a senior leader in the charity sector for seven years, my career has been dedicated to helping people grow and develop, and supporting time-poor leaders to achieve ambitious goals and programme outcomes.

Even before becoming a fitness professional, I have always been a huge advocate of balance and sustainability, and I think ultimately, balance equals health. Health, diet and fitness myths are sadly still rife, particularly with social media. I have made it my mission to educate people on these and show my clients that getting (and staying) fit and healthy never needs to include fad diets, restriction or unsustainable habits.

Through a determined approach to education and self-learning, I have been through my own journey of fat loss, weightlifting and overall health and fitness development. I've only ever written my own programmes, and through this method, I have sustainably lost over 10kg, I can now lift over two times my own bodyweight, I run half marathons in under 2 hours and I have gradually moved to a more hybrid and functional style of fitness.

I primarily strength train because I love it and it brings more benefits than any other type of exercise, but I also do running, HIIT/circuits and functional/speed/power work. I have transitioned from being fairly sedentary to loving movement and exercise for what it is and how it makes me feel, and I am dedicating my career to helping others achieve this feeling too.

Through my own research and fascination, I have also learned a lot about sleep and how to optimise this as much as possible. Similarly, I have gained knowledge on periods and how this can affect training, alcohol and caffeine's effect on the body, mind and sleep and different ways to train the body.

What comes with a fitter lifestyle?

A healthier mindset, healthier eating, healthier skin, a smaller waistline, a defined and toned body, more energy, better sex, better sleep, less inflammation, mental growth, more self-esteem and self-love.
